Kram!

// Slowly but surely we are all inheriting my grandma's things. I already have a painting and a TV table that I love and now I am the new mom of this green couch. It is magical.

It's so interesting how our brains work because for years as I've seen this couch around all the grandma-y things in her home, I've thought that it isn't my style. I even thought it was ugly. Too colorful, too *royal*, too this and that. But it is amazing. I think it would look especially good in a room with white or really light colored floors and white walls or in an industrial looking place with cold toned walls. Lol can you see what and expert I've become at interior design after owning the couch for 1 day.

A lot in my home is either old or second hand but actually the environment might not be the main reason for that, but instead the fact that my family has collected so much trash during the years. I know that others too can relate to this - having such CRAZY amounts of stuff around, that we don't really know what to do about but also can't seem to get sold. It's quite hard to sell things and it takes time but when we eventually move to Copenhagen in a few years (with this couch hehe), I want to have sold everything that is extra. It's a long project and a big goal to have but I am a 100% sure that less things would make us happier. So. Until then. Hugs!

  1. Even thought I'm currently combining working from home and home schooling, I have still managed to find time to create a huge pile of stuff to get rid of. (Really, I have loads of time because kids dont have any hobbies atm...) Being at home ALL THE TIME makes it easier to get irritated by stuff in the closets, so I have combined Teams-meetings with sorting kids too small clothes :) And now I have huge pile of stuff we dont need and I cant take anywhere (Kontti and Hope are closed) so I have tried to sell some of the stuff. Its painfully slow.

Again, loving your posts and I'll try the pasta recipe soon. But I was planning on using dried mushroom, I'll let you know how it works out.

    All the best, ÄE

    1. I knoooow! Being at home really makes you SEE everything, both good and bad stuff hahaha... It really IS painfully slow to sell! I try donating the most clothes I found at home to one of Pelastusarmeija's containers but THINGS that aren't clothes are really hard to get rid of quickly. But maybe this is a lifestyle in a way, which makes it understandable to be happening over a longer period instead of fast. Even though it would be nice to get rid of everything right away. Happy to hear that you like the posts, thank you so much! Hope the pasta will be great:P
